Pavots Lighted Sculpture

Through his work, René Lalique explored the decorative possibilities of fauna, flora and women. Among flowers, the poppy particularly inspired him, which he made the centerpiece of many jewels and decorative objects. Through this lighted sculpture, Lalique reinterprets the motif of Poppy, an attribute of Demeter, goddess of agriculture and harvest in Greek mythology. Symbol of deep emotions, eternal rest and rebirth, the poppy has had an important role in religion, politics and medicine. Reminiscent of René Lalique’s famous tableware centerpieces, the majestic curve adorned with satin-finished poppies is highlighted with LED technology. Five levels of intensity are possible for this stand-alone statement piece.
