Debbie Cavit and the team at Cavit&Co recently designed the refurbishment for NextDoorBistro. The project involved transforming the then tired Tribeca Restaurant in Parnell for new owners and the result is a sophisticated and on trend bistro.
Debbie selected and imported the walnut and black glass sideboards designed by Christopher Delcourt, the solid walnut and steel stools by Palcas Allaman, the Four Seasons 4.6m long leather sofas and custom made the low pebble tables suitable for relaxed dining specifically for the bar area. The striking art work was sourced from Art Addiction and Porter Taleo from the USA.
The main dining area is open and relaxed. Debbie retained brick walls and added McGuire lighting designed by Jonathan Browning including the stunning Nipomo Chandelier and Tomales wall sconces. Furniture was kept simple and stylish. With a wall of windows opening onto The Foundation Green, the bistro is imminently suitable for both day and night time dining.
